My experience at the Jim Corbett National Park
With all excitement, hopped on the bus and started off the journey to the Jim Corbett. It was a 6-hour long journey from New Delhi. The excitement was on the peak as we were all in a group. Once we reached the Nadiya Parao Resort at dawn, our tiredness got all swayed away. The resort was so splendid that we could not help but stare. The staff was courteous enough to guide us to our cottage. We went for a morning walk right then and felt rejuvenated. With Kosi river flowing just aside the resort, it felt so lively.
After a quick photo session, we gave it a break and headed for breakfast. Cheese omelet with a pint of fresh juice is all that got us elated! We then headed towards the Garjiya temple where we sunbathed in the river Kosi. Few of the daredevils in our group went down the river as well. We had then had a tour of the Jim Corbett falls along with taking the blessings of God at the Hanuman Dham. We also went to the Jim Corbett Museum where we got to know about the naturalist. After reaching back to the resort, we had a gala -time. We had our dinner which lit up our taste buds along with a splendid singer who sang songs of our choice. We then hopped on to our comfy beds and played cards. The next day was to be more fun and exhaustive, so we gave our eyes a rest.
The next day was fun-filled. We woke up late and hurriedly went for breakfast. Luckily we did not miss any of the meals at the resort, as it would have surely been a loss for us. The meals at the resort were scrumptious. We all then went to the pool with our cola cans! After an hour-long swim, we all were too tired. We quickly got ready and headed for the most exciting part of the journey, the jungle safari. We started with the jeeps waiting at the resort. We entered into one of the zones and got to see umpteen animals. The dream of being amongst the wildest animals turned into reality at Jim Corbett. We had a glimpse of the giant elephants, deer, monkey, and species like such. However, we could not have a glimpse of the tiger. But anyway, had the best experience of our lives.
We then packed our bags up and got ready to bid the place adieu. We had an amazing time at the Nadiya Parao resort as the staff was courteous enough and we had a comfortable stay over there.
We would soon be planning another trip to Jim Corbett resort and that too at the Nadiya Parao Resort. The staff not only took care of our basic needs but they guided us all over the trip.
I would give my five stars to the Nadiya Parao Resort for such an overwhelming stay and would also encourage my acquaintances to book their rooms at the resort while visiting Jim Corbett.
